Marjolaine del Pino

After finalizing her professional studies she worked in Graphic Design Companies, newspapers and magazines.
In 1996, she moved to Luxembourg to work as Interior Designer. At the same time she learned the acrylic and silkscreen print techniques.

In 1999, she moved to Asia and explored China, India, Japan, Korea, Mongolia and South-East Asian countries. She was especially inspired and motivated by the colors, dances and music in those countries. Her interest in superstitions and traditions of the Asian Culture strongly influenced her future paintings.

In 2009 she moved back to Luxembourg and continued discovering new sources of inspiration and dedicating herself to develop her passion.

She lived in New Delhi, India, from 2012 to 2016, her stay in India shaped her style of painting significantly.

Since summer 2016 she lives in Madrid learning mainly the oil technique.
As in previous places she stayed, Marjolaine explores Spain learning of the cultural and traditional wealth of this country,
being inspired for her new series that she will call “Spain and Passions”.

Marjolaine Del Pino, Diseñadora gráfica, nacida en Chile.

Luego de sus estudios ella comienza a desarrollarse en las artes gráficas, colaborando y trabajando en revistas, periódicos y oficinas de diseño gráfico.

En 1996, ella se traslada a Luxemburgo trabajando allí como diseñadora de interiores. Al mismo tiempo ella aprende las técnicas del acrílico y de la impresión en serigrafía.

En 1999 ella se traslada a vivir en Asia, fue en ese exótico continente donde ella fue altamente inspirada por los colores, la música, las danzas y las tradiciones de países como la India, China, Japón, Corea y Mongolia entre otros. Ella se intereso también fuertemente en aprender las supersticiones y las tradiciones de la cultura asiática.

En 2009 ella vuelve a Luxemburgo, y es en el continente Europeo donde ella continúo descubriendo nuevas fuentes de inspiración y dedicándose a desarrollar cada día mas su pasión por la pintura.

En el 2012 al 2016, Marjolaine volvió a Asia, esta vez se instalo en India. Su estadía en este país la marco a ella y a su pintura significativamente.

Desde el veranos del 2016, ella vive en Madrid, aprendiendo básicamente la técnica del Olio y de la pintura realista clásica española.

Como en los otros países que ella vivió, Marjolaine explora e indaga en las tradiciones y en la cultura española aprendiendo y buscando la inspiración para su nueva serie que llamara “España y Pasiones”.

KIMONO, es una prenda tradicional de vestir japonesa. Los motivos abstractos impresos en sus telas engañan el ojo, hacen que el portador se mezcle, se integre, se disuelva en su entorno provocando la ilusión de un rostro, de un paisaje, de un árbol, de aves, de animales, de motivos florales o hace que se encarne en emociones, en temas o en ideas. La persona se refleja como un doble de la realidad, como la luna a la tierra…
